Chanukat HaBayit – Shoresh’s Community Housewarming
Date and Time: Jun 4, 2026 // 6-9 PM
Location: new Shoresh office at the Centre for Social Innovation (192 Spadina Ave)
Who: our whole community!
This year, Shoresh steps into a new chapter with a larger, more welcoming home — a space where our work can grow and deepen. To mark this moment, we are bringing our broader community together. This gathering is an opportunity to reconnect, to remind ourselves that we are in this work together, and to bless the space that will sustain Shoresh’s programs, relationships, and mission. This Chanukat HaBayit (community blessing of a new home) is a chance to recommit to Shoresh as a hub of interconnection — a place where Jewish wisdom is shared and passed on, where nature is honored, and where Jewish community and leadership continue to flourish. Together, we will bless our new home, gather and re-connect in learning and conversation, and celebrate the start of a chapter that promises to carry our work further and deeper than ever before.
