After three years of intensive dreaming, visioning, mapping and planning, we are ready to reveal our 7-year plan for developing Shoresh’s programs and ventures at Bela Farm, a new centre for sustainable, land-based Judaism in rural Ontario!!!!!

Our intention is to create a space that will feel like home to you, our community. A space for you and your family to celebrate Jewish rituals and holidays OUTSIDE, a place for you to connect to the power and beauty of nature and a place for us to all build a resilient, connected community that is deeply rooted in both the land AND Jewish wisdom, ethics and tradition.

Join us at Taking Root: Stories to Ground and Inspire Us All on Tuesday October 27th in Artscape’s newest venue, The Sandbox!

Taking Root will feature:

• 10 amazing food vendors creating innovative products in the kosher, local and organic markets. Stay tuned for details.
• 7 dynamic speakers, each sharing a moment of awe and wonder. Speakers include Anthony Rose (Executive chef and founder of Rose and Sons), Debbie Field (Executive Director of Food Share), Ran Goel (Founder of Fresh City Farms), Rabbi Rafi Lipner (Senior Rabbi of Shaarei Tefillah and Executive Director of The House), and Ryan Storm (14 year old revolutionary food blogger!).
