Shoresh

School Programs

At Shoresh, we inspire and empower students to take care of the earth by drawing and strengthening connections between people, land, and Jewish tradition.  Book a field trip to one of our program sites, meet us in a local park or ravine for a Nature Adventure, or bring a Shoresh educator to you for an in-class nature-based workshop, and gift your students a meaningful opportunity to engage in Tikkun Olam, repairing the world!

Cultivate AWE and WONDER with your students at Shoresh’s Kavanah Garden!  Book a hands-on, curricular-aligned, Jewishly-inspired field trip today.

The Kavanah Garden is Shoresh’s flagship programming space.  Located at 145 Lebovic Campus Drive in Vaughan, the Kavanah Garden features organic vegetable and herb gardens, pollinator garden spaces, a natural playground, and is adjacent to a 5-acre ravine featuring a tributary of the East Don River.  All of the food grown at Shoresh’s Kavanah Garden is donated to vulnerable community members through our tzedakah partnerships.
