Roots and Shoots (ideal for JK-Grade 3)
Discover the many sababa (amazing) plants and creatures that live in our gardens, parks, and urban spaces, while learning what all creatures need to survive!
Shomrei Adamah: Keepers of the Earth (ideal for Grade 4-8)
The Torah teaches us that humans are meant to be responsible stewards of Creation! Discover how we can care for the plants and creatures that live in our communities.
Holiday Series (any age)
Through hands-on activities we will explore Judaism’s connection to nature. The series offers programs onRosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Channukah, TuB’Shvat, Pesach and Shavuot.
Organic Gardening Series (any age)
Work weekly with Shoresh educators to learn organic gardening practices rooted in Jewish ethics and agricultural laws. This series can be offered at the Kavanah Garden or at an alternative garden location.
Urban Teva Adventure Series (any age)
Meet regularly with Shoresh educators in one of Toronto’s parks or ravines for hands-on Jewish nature adventures!
